Harvest Festival
Saturday August 27 is the first annual Harvest Festival with special emphasis on GARLIC. Chefs from area restaurants – Simmer Wine & Food and Damiano’s, both on Main Street in Downtown Montrose, and Smokelicked Seasonings will have food demonstrations with samples. Participating vendors will offer specials on garlic with sample tastings and favorite recipes to hand out. The Montrose County Historical Society Museum will have a 1929 tractor along with vintage farm tools and implements. Garlic growing workshops, garlic braiding and live music will take place throughout the morning.
