Basket of garlic

The first annual Harvest Festival is Saturday August 27 during regular market hours, with special emphasis on GARLIC. Chefs from area restaurants, Simmer Wine & Food and Damiano’s, both located on Main Street in Downtown Montrose, and Smokelicked Seasonings, located at the Montrose Farmers Market, will hold food demonstrations with samples and favorite garlic recipes. Participating vendors will offer specials on garlic along with growing and cooking tips, sample tastes and recipe handouts. Montrose County Historical Society Museum will have a 1929 tractor along with vintage farm tools and implements.
